How you can sign in

Three ways in: an email and password, Google, or GitHub. Which one you choose decides what you can change later without asking anyone.

There are three ways into a NexaVoxa account. The choice matters more than it looks, because it decides who holds the identity behind the account.

The three methods

MethodWho holds the identityWhat that means for you
Email and passwordYouYou can reset your own password and the address is yours
GoogleGoogleNo NexaVoxa password exists. The account follows that Google address
GitHubGitHubSame, tied to that GitHub identity

Signing up with an email

Registering with an email and password sends a one time code to that address. The account is not usable until the code is entered, which is what stops anyone registering with an address they do not own.

If the code does not arrive, that has its own page.

Forgot your password

Password recovery sends a reset link to the address on the account. It only applies to accounts created with an email and password.

Tip

Not sure which method you used? Try the reset. If nothing arrives, the account was created with Google or GitHub, and that is your answer.

Common questions

Can I sign in with Apple or Facebook?
No. Email and password, Google, and GitHub are the supported methods.
Can I add a password to a Google account later?
Not from the dashboard. Contact [email protected], and read the article on why the email is locked first, because it is the same underlying reason.
