The Settings page
A short page that mostly sends you somewhere else. What each card does, and why yours may hold fewer cards than a colleague's.

Settings in the sidebar is one of the shortest pages on the platform, and that is deliberate. It describes itself as managing your profile and workspace invites, and it works as a hub: each card is a line of text and a button that takes you somewhere.
The useful thing to know before you go looking is which settings are not here at all. Anything to do with how an agent behaves lives on the agent. Anything to do with numbers, integrations or knowledge lives on its own sidebar page. Settings is about you and your organisation.
What everyone sees
| Card | What it holds |
|---|---|
| E-Mail Address | The address you sign in with, plus Change Password and Edit Profile |
| What's New | The latest updates, features and fixes, behind a View changelog button |
Your email is displayed on the first card but there is no control to change it, which is intentional rather than an oversight. There is a separate article on why.
Cards that depend on your role
Two more cards can appear, and whether you see them is decided by the role your account holds. This is the usual reason a colleague's Settings page looks different from yours, and it is worth knowing before anyone concludes something is missing.
Tip
Adding people to your workspace lives inside Manage organization rather than on the Settings page itself. If you cannot see that card, ask whoever set up your account, because it is a role question and not a settings question.
| Card | Who sees it | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Organization | Organisation admins and members | White-label branding, members, usage and billing visibility, behind Manage organization |
| Platform organizations | Platform admin accounts | Managing organisations across the platform, behind Manage organizations |
Manage Subscription
The top right of the page carries a Manage Subscription button, sitting outside the cards. It is the subscription side of your account rather than your wallet balance, which has its own page under Billing.
Where each setting actually lives
The quickest way to use this page is to know what it is not for.
| What you want to change | Where it is |
|---|---|
| Your name or details | Settings, Edit Profile |
| Your password | Settings, Change Password |
| Your email address | Nowhere. See the article on why |
| Light or dark theme | The toggle in the top bar, on every page |
| Anything about how an agent behaves | The agent itself, under More to configure |
| Phone numbers, integrations, knowledge | Their own pages in the sidebar |
| Balance and top-ups | Billing |
Common questions
- Why can I not change my email here?
- The address is shown but not editable, and that is by design. There is a separate article explaining what to do instead.
- My colleague has more options on Settings than I do.
- The Organization and Platform organizations cards only appear for certain roles. A shorter page means your account does not hold those roles, not that anything is broken.
- Where do I invite someone to my workspace?
- Inside Manage organization, on the Organization card. If that card is not on your Settings page, your role does not include it.
- Where is the dark mode setting?
- It is not on this page. The theme toggle sits in the top bar and is available everywhere.
- What is the difference between Manage Subscription and Billing?
- Manage Subscription is the subscription side of the account. Billing in the sidebar is where your balance and what calls cost are shown.
